BIO

Born and raised in the South, Faith Dené is a southern girl who dreamed of modeling at an early age.

The Houston area native landed her first modeling gig while in college at a model competition where she won runner up. Faith's inviting, warm personality and love for the designs she wore in the competition led to an opportunity to continue modeling with the designers, including Chloe Dao, who won season one of the fashion reality series, Project Runway. Faith later went on to do fashion shows for Macy's as well as in-store trunk shows and photoshoots for companies such as Melodrama Boutique.

Her naturally curly hair has attracted much attention from natural hair enthusiasts. In Houston, her hair landed her a spot in the Woman-to-Woman Fashion & Hair Show showcasing the hottest hairstyles. After moving to Los Angeles, Faith entered an online competion to be a model for a new hair product called 'Curl Duchess,' created by the popular natural hair blogger Angel Jordan of KisForKinky.com. After winning the contest, Faith became one of the featured faces for the product's lookbook, website and packaging. She is also a regular go-to model for the blog.

Faith's talents stretch further than runway and hair. She's also showcased her acting skills as one of two featured models for Houston rap artists Q. Guyton & Ace's music video "Explode." There, she channeled her anger as a fed up woman tired of her lover's cheating antics.

Faith has also taken her talents to television making her national modeling debut in a 'Celebrity Style' segment on The Ricki Lake Show, showcasing singer Solonge Knowles style, which was styled by WHO, WHAT, WEAR. Since then, Faith has modeled fashions for Amanda Christine, Skimwear by Dice's vintage and Skimwear bathing suit collection, and chic threads by stylist Tori Elizabeth.

Faith was recently photographed by celebrity photographer Scott Hebert, for celebrity hair stylist Dr. Kari Williams lookbook. What a treat that was for her.
